Military deception is accelerating. Learn how Kubíček DECOY positions inflatable decoy systems as a core capability for modern armed forces.

On January 14–15, 2026, a NATO research workshop focused on military deception technologies was jointly organized by armasuisse and the NATO Science and Technology Organization. The event brought together more than 90 experts from defense research institutions, industry, and government organizations.

Kubíček DECOY participated in the workshop together with its partner JISR Institute, presenting a CV-90 decoy system equipped with JISR Institute’s RF signature module. This technology enables realistic replication of the electromagnetic footprint of the simulated platform, significantly extending deception capabilities beyond purely visual imitation.

The technical program focused on both the current state of the art and future challenges in deception technologies. Discussions covered new materials, manufacturing processes, methods for assessing effectiveness, and the deployment of deception measures in modern multi-domain operational environments.

From Kubíček DECOY’s perspective, the workshop also provided a valuable opportunity to benchmark our solutions against other international players active in the decoy segment. The technical discussions confirmed that our inflatable decoy systems meet the highest quality and performance expectations, while offering clear advantages in terms of deployability, logistics, and scalability.

Comparisons between inflatable and non-inflatable decoy concepts highlighted the importance of manufacturing know-how, material expertise, and operational experience. In these areas, Kubíček DECOY demonstrated strong competence and a clear understanding of real-world military requirements.

The workshop confirmed the growing importance of multi-layered decoy systems as a tool for force protection and for complicating adversary decision-making processes. Such capabilities are increasingly becoming an integral part of modern NATO and national defense architectures.

Participation in this event further strengthened Kubíček DECOY’s position as a reliable industrial partner, capable of delivering advanced decoy solutions in close cooperation with specialized research institutions.
